All countries started to develop adjustments and new strategies in many different aspects of life, so that life continues to run in a new normal way. Likewise, Education situations are also coping with this pandemic in a hard way. Schools are closed, teachers and students face new tough situations. However, many important lessons have been learned, as well as taking the efforts to overcome these challenges. These situations have been happening in most parts of the world.

Some valuable feedback from students are they enjoyed learning using the platform and meeting international friends! They got the chance to evaluate and submitted it confidently. On May 2, we commemorate the National Education Day every year. The history of National Education Day cannot be separated from the figure and struggle of Ki Hadjar Dewantara, the father of education. “Everyone becomes a teacher, every house becomes a school. Education does not stop at school buildings, but also at home, on the streets, and elsewhere” is one of the famous quotes of Ki Hadjar Dewantara.

People are longing for good news every day. After a year of waiting, the vaccine is finally coming to Indonesia. The news spread all over the social media. The season of waiting is over, and people are excited.
However, that is not the only good news we have. The Anglia Indonesia team is also excited for our Demo Project launch next month. From March 2019, Indonesia’s education situation, like many other countries, experienced the challenge of switching the learning strategy from face-to-face learning to online and remote learning situations. Both educators and students dealt with these difficult situations and challenges in confusion. Schools need to be able to navigate the issues of contacting parents and other immediate family to assist their child in learning from home, adjust to their new style of learning for new normal learning situations.
Indonesia’s Minister of Education and Culture, Nadiem Makarim, together with many other relevant authorities, school administrators, and educational parties, have set up adjustments related to emergency remote learning situations. |
