JUNIOR

What does Junior test?
  • an understanding of about 200 words (the First Step words, plus 100 more) from familiar categories such as parts of the body, animals, food and means of transport
  • some useful structures to say who people are and what they're doing
  • some prepositions to say where people and things are
  • some basic questions to find out what things are or who things belong to

What does the candidate have to do in the Junior exam?
  • match words with pictures
  • choose answers
  • write words and letters
  • read and label
  • answer multiple-choice questions​​
Performance Indicators

​The candidate
  • has a basic vocabulary recognition of about 200 words

GP 5: Present continuous
Describing present actions.

Identification
